We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to think, make and craft at the intersection of systems and stories. You will have stellar craft, design flair and enjoy working in a fast paced environment. A brilliant designer with impeccable craft and flair, comfortably and consistently superb in your execution across a range of visual styles and mediums. Able to define creative concepts around systematic thinking, story-telling and campaign thinking.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to gather user requirements.
- Developing and conceptualizing a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the brand.
- Explore various design approaches to solve specific user problems.
- Producing high quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.
- Collaborating with the marketing team, and internal and external designers to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the digital user.
- Implement the latest design innovations to ensure that the product is in accordance with cutting-edge technology.
- Define user task flows and interaction models.
- Create a cohesive style guide to ensure consistent design language is followed across the product.
- Conduct user research.
- Create user personas.
- Conduct customer and competitor analysis.
- Optimises UI designs and tests for intuitiveness and user-centeredness.
- Conduct usability testing to identify gaps in design and see if they can be further improved.
Prerequisites
You have a strong interest in all aspects of design and its impact on the world around you, and share a passion for making digital experiences simple, meaningful and elegant. As an experienced designer, you will participate and lead world-class projects, and enjoy collaborating with peers and clients alike to solve complex design problems.
- You have at least 6 years of experience.
- You have excellent presentation skills.
- You have user research, usability testing and prototyping knowledge.
- You are proficient in design tools (E.g. SketchApp, Photoshop, Keynote, etc)
- You have a clear understanding and love for white-space and all that jazz (design principles).
- You are wildly creative, meticulous and addicted to the quality of craft.
- You should have a good sense of motion choreography; able to know how to use animation tools like Principle.
