Job Scope:

• Customer Due Diligence and Know Your Customer: Identify and verify customer identities, screen and assess related parties, ownership structures, adverse news searches at the onboarding stage and on a continuing basis.

•Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism: Ensure that AML risk assessment for new customers before on-boarding are correctly performed and documented properly, conducting transaction monitoring.

•Support internal and external audits and compliance with our regulators and banking partners for any Singapore related matters.

•Support Singapore corporate governance matters.

• Assist with other aspects of the business and special projects.

Requirements to succeed

• Diploma / bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional certification, and/or 1 years of relevant work experience in Compliance in a bank or other MAS-regulated financial institution, KYC review/ AML transaction monitoring experience will be a bonus.

• Knowledge and familiarity with Singapore regulatory compliance requirements.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently.

• Proficiency with compliance management and screening software, e.g. World Check, etc.

Position Overview:

The Settlement associate will assist in providing daily support in settlement payments, reconciliation, and reporting.

Successful candidate will also be involved in preparing, maintaining and updating of settlement workflow and explore streamlining existing processes and to achieve automation processing.

Responsibilities:

• Process daily financial transactions and payments received or to clients and Associations.

• Investigate and process transaction disputes in accordance to company policies and regulations.

• Responding to settlement related queries internally and externally.

• Review and update department process workflows, fund flows, work processes and procedures.

• Perform regular MIS reporting to Management and Regulatory

Requirements:

As part of the Operational Risk team, you will assist in operational risk management, risk incident reporting and analysis, provide independent risk oversight, participate in Enterprise-wide risk framework and help drive the improvement of the control environment at Aleta Planet.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with all functional teams to guide and exercise oversight on risk registers relating to operational risks, incident reporting, process gaps and controls analysis, and remediation efforts.

• Analysis - analyzing data from various systems, understanding system logic, investigating risk events and identifying root cause of incidents.

• Risk Monitoring - to provide support in risk monitoring activities and recurring communication with management and senior management stakeholders on observations and findings.

Required Qualifications:

•Minimum 2 years in risk management or experience in analytical roles at financial institutions, tech or fintech companies preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Finance or related disciplines.

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills

• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office tools.

• Ability to segregate widely variant data and feedbacks into root cause issues and provide actionable feedback to other stakeholders.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication (written / verbal) skills, comfortable with providing training, presentation, managing multiple stakeholders and working as part of a team.

• Handle full spectrum of HR Lifecycle, i.e., Recruitment, Onboarding/Offboarding, Payroll, Employee Matters, Work Pass Renewal, Welfare etc

• Maintains compliance with employment act and regulations; reviews HR policies and practices to maintain compliance

• Oversee all other HR administrative work including compensation & benefits administration, work injury compensation & training administration

• Provide relevant support as necessary and other ad-hoc assignment.
