You will provide quality patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings, performing the following tasks:

• Interact with patients in assisting with their medication orders and queries
• Label and pack medications
• Process medication orders
• Counsel on medications
• Other ad-hoc tasks e.g. quality improvement projects etc.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences from NYP, RP, TP or NP or Diploma in Applied Science from RP or WSQ Advanced Certificate in Healthcare (Pharmacy Support) previously known as Certified Pharmacy Technician Course

Yishun Health is a network of medical institutions and health facilities of the National Healthcare Group in the north of Singapore. It comprises Admiralty Medical Centre, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and Yishun Community Hospital.

You will provide good pharmaceutical care to our patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.

On a daily basis, you will review patients’ prescriptions and medication charts for appropriateness of drugs prescribed and perform interventions on drug-related problems. Where applicable, you will recommend and monitor patient-specific drug therapy. You will dispense medications to patients, explaining the indications and side effects for drug therapy and instructions for administration. Where needed, you will provide drug information to other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy/Pharmacology or equivalent
• Eligible for registration with the Singapore Pharmacy Council
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good listening, written and communication skills

Statement of Purpose

To lead and deliver psychological services in Khoo Teak Puat Hospital and YH campus

Major Duties And Responsibilities

SPECIFIC (80%)

• To provide individual and/or group psychotherapy for inpatients and outpatients (e.g. cognitive behaviour therapy, supportive therapy, relaxation therapy, stress management).
• To provide psychometric assessments (e.g. IQ, neuropsychological, dementia).
• To attend to complex inpatients or outpatients, as well as medico-legal and forensic cases.
• To handle direct referrals from other medical professionals, police and the courts.
• To assist in developing the hospital’s peer support program for staff and/or corporate clients and deliver talks and workshops on stress management and mental health.
• To lead and provide supervision to Masters in Clinical Psychology students and junior psychologists.

GENERAL (20%)

• Involvement in support groups (e.g. weight management support group) and/or provide input for relevant hospital programmes.
• To conduct or be involved in research independently or in collaboration with other specialists.
• To conduct teaching and training in psychology or related subjects to mental health or other professionals and/or psychology students.
• To undertake any special duties as assigned by CEO, CMB, COO, HOD and supervisor.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Masters in Clinical Psychology with at least 5-10 years of relevant working experience
• Preferably holding or eligible for a valid registration, license or practising certificate with an established or recognised psychological professional body such as APA, APS or BPS.
