Our client, a prestigious luxury retail company, is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their team. This opportunity offers a vibrant work environment located in Orchard Road. The role is an one-year contract position, covering maternity leave.

Job Scope

• Oversee daily and monthly financial transactions and procedures, ensuring adherence to Company policies and procedures while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOP) to optimize work processes, emphasizing continuous improvement and efficiency through automation.
• Manage the processing of Customer Service (CS) invoices, including verification and entry into the accounting system.
• Handle receipt allocation and cash deposits into bank accounts.
• Review and input vendor invoices, as well as process staff expense claims.
• Facilitate payments for invoices and staff claims.
• Update weekly inventory and pricing information in the system.
• Monitor and ensure timely completion of CS stock movement and margin reports, aligning with Manager's directives and meeting outlined objectives.
• Conduct analysis of stock movement reports to reconcile discrepancies related to straps and clasps.

Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent CPA qualification

Experience:

• At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes

Working Location: 5-10 walk from Orchard MRT
Timing: Mon - Fri 9am - 6pm

Salary: Up to $5000 (depending on experience)
