Accounts Assistant (AR)

• Industry: Automotive
• Gross Salary: Up to $3000 (Depending on experience)
• Working days & hours: 8.30am – 5.30pm; Hybrid Work upon confirmation
• Location: Tuas Cresent

Job Responsibilities:

Billing and Invoicing:

• Maintain accurate billing records and issue invoices promptly.
• Ensure all invoices are sent to customers on time.

Payment Collection and Reconciliation:

• Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure proper allocation.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor accounts for late or missed payments and take appropriate action.
• Complete billing, collection, and reporting tasks within deadlines.

Database and Records Management:

• Maintain and update customer records in the system.
• Reconcile accounts and address payment issues promptly.

Receipt and Cash Management:

• Process high-volume receipt postings.
• Follow procedures for receipts, cash handling, and bank deposits.

Customer Service:

• Manage a high volume of emails daily and respond to customer queries promptly.
• Address inquiries from customers and sales teams professionally.

Reporting and Ad-Hoc Tasks:

• Prepare AR aging reports and collection performance summaries for management.
• Support other tasks or projects assigned by the supervisor.

Ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Min. Diploma in Accountancy or relevant field.
• Min. 1 – 2 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge in ERP system is an added advantage
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities to handle high volumes of daily emails effectively.
