Key Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including general ledger journal entries and the creation of financial and management reports.
• Perform financial analyses of business initiatives, delivering insights and commentaries on periodic financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with local tax and legal requirements by filing statutory, business statistics, and other necessary returns.
• Collaborate with suppliers, external and internal auditors, and coordinate with tax agents to ensure tax compliance and adherence to group accounting policies and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
• Support projects aimed at enhancing efficiency through cost-saving measures, process automation, and improved documentation.
• Develop a thorough understanding of business operations and financial procedures.
• Aid the finance department in developing and implementing internal controls.
• Undertake various ad-hoc assignments as required.

Education & Certification

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or ACCA equivalent; preferably a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• With min 3 years of experience
• Prior experience in Retail / FMCG and/or MNC environment is required for this position.
• Experienced in Navision / Dynamics 365 systems is highly advantageous.
