In a Nutshell, we’re looking for…
Continuous Improvement Specialist with proven experience and ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. This role will be responsible for reviewing current processes and identifying areas that need improvement using continuous improvement tools/methodologies. You will collaborate with the technical operations team to execute projects, increase efficiency and reduce cost while also providing support on technical services and ESG initiatives. This role, based out of Singapore, will entail about 50% travel, primarily within the APAC region.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Project Management
- Manage overall project timelines and coordinate with the different stakeholders to ensure on-time completion of project tasks
- Work closely with co-manufacturing partners to provide technical support during entire project phase
Innovation and Improvement
- Lead and execute continuous improvement projects in co-manufacturing partners
- Work together with co-manufacturing partners to increase visual management in the plant, creating losses mapping, and develop value stream mapping to identify improvement potential
- Perform process improvement using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
- Monitor, measure, and report on the progress of continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with teams to streamline workflows and eliminate inefficiencies
- Provide training and development on continuous improvement to co-manufacturers team
Operations Support
- Provide Technical Support to ensure Quality, Productivity & Costs are optimized
- Assist in plant trouble shooting using root causes analysis methodologies
- Build and maintain baseline data for technical operations in compliance with master data management process
- Identification of cost savings and optimization opportunities in our co-manufacturing partners and then define action plans to execute the actions needed so these are captured
Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG baseline data into business insight report and operation
- Analyzing and interpreting data related to ESG factors and preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting related data collection and initiatives on responsible packaging
- Supporting data preparation and analysis for carbon footprint reduction
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 3 years’ experience in the food manufacturing industry, preferably in beverages
- Familiar with Lean/Six Sigma Methodologies. Having Six Sigma Green Belt will be an advantage
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent data analysis skills
- Exposed to food quality requirements such as HACCP, GMP and ISO Systems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Previous involvement in ESG initiatives and/or experience with ISO14001
- Willingness to travel around the region (50%).
