We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our Technology team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in analysing detailed processes, functional and data requirements, drafting functional design and data specifications, and supporting testing and implementation to align with the future footprint of Investments and Finance systems. You will collaborate with business stakeholders in Insurance sites to ensure their requirements are effectively met.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design: Collaborate with the Global Program team to analyse, review, and design solutions for INSP Investment Services to meet the requirements of INSP Singapore Insurance.
- Data Integration: Partner with delivery teams and source system teams to ensure the timely and accurate extraction of new data fields as required.
- Testing & Issue Resolution: Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT) and System Testing on system builds. Liaise with IT to resolve issues identified during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) or establish workaround solutions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Operate within a highly regulated environment, working closely with Financial Controls and engaging with key stakeholder groups, including Group Finance Operations Centers (GFOC), Finance senior managers, and Accounting Policy teams.
- Control Framework Implementation: Streamline processes, reduce manual interventions, and implement automated controls to enhance the overall control framework.
- Documentation & Training: Prepare comprehensive system documentation, user manuals, and provide training to end-users when required.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in Insurance, Investments, or Finance transformation functions or IT, with the ability to interpret data attributes and system logic in Insurance Policy Administration and Investment Fund Management systems.
- Project Expertise: Proven track record in Finance projects involving data tables, extracts, and reporting, with a strong focus on meeting business reporting needs and solving business problems.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and BI reporting tools.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to adopt inclusive approaches, achieve consensus on complex issues, and think independently and innovatively.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong influencing skills and experience managing local stakeholder relationships and delivery partners to drive change effectively.
