Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit monthly claims for projects.
• Assist the project team with cost estimation and budget control.
• Measure and verify subcontractors’ work and costs.
• Support project progress with relevant measurements and records.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in a construction-related discipline.
• At least half a year of working experience in a construction company in Singapore.
• Familiar with quantity surveying, budgeting, and claims processes in the construction industry.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in relevant office and surveying software is an advantage.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.

Additional Information:

We work closely with chinese speaking clients, fluent in both english and chinese will be be an advantage in our environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Plan and execute short- and long-term KPI to achieve Company objectives.
• Develop and maintain relationship with clients and stakeholders.
• Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
• Developing goals for the team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
• Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short- and long-term business development plans.
• To develop the framework for the corporate management system, and coordinate across all the Functional Departments to standardize company’s rules & regulations.
• Gathering and analyzing the data based on the company’s performance appraisal policies for Managements, Subsidiaries and Functional Departments.
• Conduct market research and systematically collect and summarize the construction market information for the Management to make decisions.
• To identify the benchmark companies from industry, and carry out consistent monitoring and learn from their successful management experience and competitive advantages.
• Liaise with Beijing HQ effectively, take charge of processing of incoming correspondences, distribution, follow-up, and response.
• Preparing the important reports to Beijing HQ, including annual operations review, performance appraisal reports etc.

Skills and Specifications

• Background with construction management
• Good command of Chinese is a must, with excellent proficiency in written Chinese (In order to liaise with the Chinese speaking associates)
• At least of 1 year of related working experience in Singapore
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Multi-tasking ability, resourceful and leadership skills
• Good at communication, able to manage chinese speaking associates
• Proficient in MS Office, especially in Excel and Power Point
• Dealt with Structural Works before - such as concrete cement casting, Formwork and Rebar related skills.

Others:

• During period when projects are a peak, some overtime may be required.
• Ability to manage workers from China, Myanmar and Bangladesh Nationality.
