Duties/Responsibilities

• Design, develop and generate electrical single-line diagrams (SLD) schematics, control logics, general arrangement (GA) diagrams using industry-standard software and tools.
• Select appropriate electrical components to ensure design optimization.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including design specifications, bills of materials, etc.
• Ensure that designs comply with relevant safety and industry regulations and international standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, digitalization, project, production teams to ensure successful project execution within cost budget.
• Attend meetings with project team to understand clients requirements during project execution
• Participate in pre-sales activities to generate bill of material and designs for the purpose of quotation generation
• Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges related to electrical, control and mechanical design, both independently and as part of a team, during design, production, testing and commissioning processes.
• Assist production and site teams on trouble-shooting, testing and commissioning, when needed
• Manage a team of electrical and control engineers

Required Skills/Abilities

• Proficiency in electrical design and principle.
• Strong knowledge of electrical components and their applications.
• Proficiency in electrical design software

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in electrical design engineering, preferably with low voltage and control panels application.
• Experience at re-engineering existing products to meet customer requirements and specifications.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in low voltage switchboards design or manufacturing
