As the Software Engineering Senior Manager, you will bring over a decade of experience to oversee a team of professionals, deliver high-quality solutions in building management systems, and ensure successful project outcomes. Your responsibilities will include below:
- Oversee a multi-disciplinary team of developers, engineers, specialists and technicians to deliver high-quality Building Management System (BMS) software solutions.
- Managing the overall project life cycle including development, implementation, testing, and commissioning and maintenance.
- Leading the integration of building services such as Electrical, HVAC, fire protection, into IBMS using protocols like Modbus, OPC, BACnet, SNMP, REST API, Kafka, MQTT.
- Utilizing expertise in Microsoft SQL, Java, C#, Angular, React and Python to manage the development, implementation, and optimization of software solutions tailored for facility management.
- Overseeing the design and implementation of operational networks (OT), including firewalls, switches, routers, PLC, and DDC, ensuring seamless integration with infrastructure.
- Designing and implementing secure and efficient computer networking and cybersecurity solutions to protect system integrity.
- Developing,monitoring, and managing project budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality and deadlines.
- Allocating resources effectively to optimize team performance and ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Working effectively in a multi-cultural environment across the Asia-Pacific region, fostering teamwork and understanding.
- Providing advice and guidance to the team, resolving technical challenges, and driving continuous improvement of systems.
- Preparing detailed reports for upper management, offering insights into project progress, financial performance, and team achievements.
- Attending client meetings to align on requirements, provide updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Lead and mentor the software teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
Requirements
To fit & succeed into this role, you must have:
- More than 10 years of proven experience in Building Management Systems (BMS) related software development, or related fields.
- Extensive expertise in front-end and back-end development, advanced computer networking, robust cybersecurity practices, and operational networks encompassing firewalls, switches, routers, PLCs, and DDCs.
- Strong experience in client engagement, attending meetings, and ensuring alignment with client expectations.
- Exceptional project management skills, including budgeting, manpower allocation, and multi-stakeholder collaboration.
- In-depth knowledge of building services such as HVAC & electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and advisory skills, with the ability to guide and support the team.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to create detailed reports for senior management or director.
- Proven ability to manage diverse teams and oversee large-scale projects in a multi-cultural environment.
- Team Lead management skill
