As an Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining cutting-edge industrial automation solutions. You will be responsible for solving complex challenges, designing innovative systems, and implementing scalable solutions that enhance operational efficiency and reliability.

Responsibilities:
- PLC Programming and Design: Develop, program, and configure PLC systems for automation projects, ensuring optimal performance and functionality across various industrial applications.
- Project Management: Manage and execute end-to-end PLC automation projects, from design and programming to testing and implementation, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
- On-Site Support and Troubleshooting: Provide on-site support for the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of PLC systems, diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including change requests, validation protocols, technical specifications, and system configurations.
- System Diagrams and Architecture: Design, update, and maintain detailed architecture, network, and control system diagrams for automation projects, ensuring clear documentation of system layouts and workflows.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or other automation-related engineering disciplines.
- At least 5 years of relevant skill experience in automation engineering.
- Good project documentation skills in English.
- MUST HAVES – To articulate and demonstrate proficiency through a portfolio of projects and involvement.
- Solid understanding of control systems (e.g., PLC, SCADA, DCS, or HMI) and networking protocols (e.g., MODBUS, Ethernet).
- Hands-on experience with PLC Programming and system integration, particularly with Allen Bradley and Siemens platforms.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems (e.g., iFix).
- Experience in the commissioning of industrial automation systems.
- Added advantage if the candidate possesses knowledge and proficiency in:
- Familiarity with the GMP environment.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- VBA and MSSQL programming languages.
- Capable of troubleshooting and resolving technical problems with minimum supervision.
- Able to work independently and as a team player.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills in English.
