About The Role
As an Deputy Director, Finance in ALPS, you will report to CFO and responsible for management accounting, planning and analysis of the company including. You will be finance partner for business units within ALPS starting up new ventures, project including policy for design and implementation of costing models for products and services rendered to internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
- To lead in developing the annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for both OPEX & CAPEX investments
- Review and seek management approval for the budgets and forecasts
- To review the results of versus plans and analyze the variances
- To partner HQ strategic and operation business teams for implementation of new activities and projects to provide preliminary costing for such activities to ensure that costings updated timely
- To assess the profitability of existing business activities and projects and ensure that costings are updated timely
- To engage site operations teams to understand their concerns and constraints and to recommend effective work processes so as to ensure the accuracy & completeness of accounting records
- To provide support to the financial accounting team in monthly closing of books and audits
- Continually review existing business processes, policies, costing methodology and the control environment and make recommendations for improvements or updates
- Any other responsibilities including ad-hoc projects as assigned
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy or ACCA and a MBA qualification is preferred
- Preferably 10 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain industry
- Healthcare experience will be an added advantage
- Good analytical, organizational, writing and communication skills
- Meticulous, resourceful and have a positive work attitude
