Purpose of the job:

• The successful candidate will oversee all Finance aspects of Alstom’s Operations at Asia-Pacific Region, specifically estimating, analysing and reporting of Operational Financial & Functional cost.
• Acts as a Financial support and business partner to APAC’s Rolling Stock VP’s as well as the different métiers
• Finance support and domain expert for the Business Performance Director
• Measure Productivity and Functional Cost performance for the region.

Key accountabilities:

• Controller of the APAC Regional HQ (AP REM / RU 5203), responsible for the planning cycles, actual reporting and reinvoicing processes, responding queries from Internal Control (ICQ) and External Auditors as well as preparing a monthly AP HQ Business Review
• Business Partner of the APAC Rolling Stock Compo leadership providing them visibility of the Financial Performance of the Operations
• APAC POH Function Controller and Organizer of the Full Cost Controlling (including NPOH) animating the community of function controllers

The Project Contract Manager (PrCM) is a key member of the project team, working in close collaboration with the Project Manager and core project team. He/she provides guidance and leadership to develop, implement, and drive proactive contract/claim management and risk mitigation strategies in accordance with Alstom’s business objectives; including extensions of time (EoTs), variations orders, contract amendments. • Drives the Contract Management activities for the allocated project proactively and manage a few Project Contracts Managers (other projects) simultaneously

• Provides training on contract/claim management to key project stakeholders, including project management, finance, engineering, and sourcing communities
• Anticipates events and risks associated with the contract management activities; proposes alternative proactive solutions to keep the situation under control
• Works closely with the Project Directors, Project Managers, Project Controllers, Project Engineering Managers, Sourcing Contract Managers, and Project Planning Managers, to identify and mitigate risks; and to identify, maximize, and leverage claim opportunities

Key Requirements:
