Responsibilities

• To achieve Company’s business growth (budget/target) with existing resources
• To manage and expand existing business and contribute to meet sales KPI
• Manage a portfolio of existing and potential customers via telephone contact
• Build a strong client relationship and grow accounts to their maximum potential
• Coordinate with different department and act as the customer’s point of contact to ensure all queries, problem or issues are dealt with appropriately
• Maintain teamwork by incorporating positive attitude
• Ensure that customer information is maintained accurately on the database
• Identify and reduce all business and financial risks through effective implementation and monitoring of controls
• Implement and maintain internal audit policies and procedures in accordance with best practice
• Sales support – preparing Quotation, oversea coordinate, monthly tariff & reporting
• Carry out any ad-hoc task as and when assigned by the Company

Requirement

• Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or a related field
• Good problem-solving skills and able to work under pressure
• Well-organized with a keen eye for detail
• Able to work independently or in a team-based environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Preferably 2 to 3 years’ experience in sales and freight forwarding industry
• Possess knowledge on logistics, import/export procedures and Incoterms
• Good command of English written and spoken
• Good customer service and communication skills

Job Description

· Ensure customer bookings are promptly documented, processed and reviewed for accuracy and completeness;

· Input export job reference;

· Any special shipment requirements shall be resolved with the shipper prior accepting the booking;

· Keep Sales Personnel informed about their bookings;

· Upon receipt of booking from shipper, Customer Service will book shipment direct with shipping lines or our consol for both FCL and LCL cargo;

· After confirmation of space with shipping lines or consol, Customer Service will advise shipper via email or fax;

· Customer Service will proceed to arrange the trucking and collection of cargo if customer require this service;

· Any changes in vessel details or delay in arrival date will be made known to shipper via phone or email by Customer Service;

· Ensure all cargoes send in good condition and if any damage shall revert to customer immediately.

Requirements

Key Accountabilities:

· Perform month-end closing activities;

· Maintain accurate financial records and statements;

· Record and process all business transactions in the accounting system using double-entry accounting;

· Receive payments and ensure collections are posted to customer accounts;

· Prepare monthly debtors reconciliation, statement of accounts and record collection status of customers;

· Prepare payment vouchers, issue cheque payment and monthly supplier reconciliation;

· Compile the relevant business documentation used in banking processes;

· Process payroll transactions into the organization’s accounting system;

· Enter accurate data into the accounting system;

· Use relevant Infocomm technology systems and tools effectively for data analysis;

· Retrieve system reports from the accounting system for management’s use;

· Assign account codes to all transactions in the accounting system;

· Do Bank Reconciliation;

· Prepare annual audit report;

· Monitor Daily Cash Flow.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Nitec in Finance/Accounting or a related field;

· Good communication and interpersonal skills;

· Good problem-solving skills and able to work under pressure;

· Well-organized with a keen eye for detail;

· Able to work independently or in a team-based environment and meet deadlines with minimum supervision;

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting systems.

Experience:

· At least 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role.
