- The Mechanical Engineer will oversee the on-site mechanical systems installation, ensuring that all works are carried out efficiently, meet quality standards, and adhere to project timelines. You will coordinate with the main contractor, consultants, and other subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the installation of mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, and fire protection systems, in data centers and critical facilities.
- Ensure all mechanical works are executed according to project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Liaise with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth communication and progress on site.
- Monitor and track work schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Provide technical support and resolve on-site issues as they arise.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Min. 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in data centers or critical facilities projects.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems installation, including HVAC and piping.
- Ability to work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and site management.
