The Role:
- Managing current business relationships while also seeking to expand opportunities with existing clients. Additionally, pursuing new business prospects beyond the current customer base.
- Identifying customer needs and offering alternative product solutions for both existing and potential clients. Preparing and assessing quotations, following up on payment concerns or customer feedback, and overseeing inventory management.
- Sourcing appropriate suppliers from various countries, including but not limited to Japan HQ.
- Taking proactive steps to improve customer satisfaction and providing weekly sales activity reports to the Assistant Sales Manager.
- Performing any other relevant tasks as assigned.
What we are looking for:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B sales within trading firms or machinery manufacturers of comparable size, excluding large trading houses focused on day trading in commodities.
- Demonstrates a strong motivation and proactive attitude towards engaging potential customers and suppliers to build solid relationships.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
