AM Aerospace is an established Aerospace fastener and C-parts component distributor and supplier to leading Aerospace engine makers and Airframe prime manufacturers.
Reporting to the CEO/MD, the Regional Aerospace Sales Manager will play a key role in driving sales growth across the Asia region with new and existing customers and geographies.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Build on the strength of the company, make strategic customer partnerships, develop new products, enter new geographies to provide sales growth and regional expansion
- Strengthen company’s existing good relationship with customers
- Bring in products that complements the existing business and business strategy
- Shape and develop strategy and organization
- Take actions to ensure attainment of targets and company goals
- Help determine overall long-range objectives and recommend their adoption for sales and marketing; prepare plans and programs to achieve approved objectives and oversee their implementation
- Direct activities of assigned sales resources and their efforts in building pipelines; Drive sakes funnel management
- Work with the Managing Director to ensure that the Sales function is adequately resourced and trained to deliver high performance and an efficient service to customers
- Actively develop and lead the use of systematic tools within sales team. Identify opportunities for standard work and implement them as appropriate.
About You / Requirements
- A successful track record of sales and marketing achievements with reputable organisations
- At least 8 years of sales and marketing experience
- Strong sales management skills; Renew and retain existing customers while growing market share through new customer acquisition.
- Excellent people relationship skills are essential; Establish and maintain contact with customers as part of a relationship matrix ensuring company is perceived as a trusted advisor, not merely a supplier.
- Excellent negotiations and communication skills
- Result oriented, open-minded, pro-active, and analytical thinking with distinct planning and organizational skills
- Experience in Aerospace business is a strong advantage
- Global mindset and readiness to travel
- Fluent English in spoken as well as written form.
- Good computer knowledge (Microsoft Office, ERP systems, desirably also Adobe products)
- University educated, technical or business degree. MBA will be an added advantage.
