The Data Center Infrastructure Operations Team forms the backbone of AWS, supporting the rapidly growing business and its customers 24/7. We are dedicated to maintaining AWS’s physical infrastructure while upholding the highest operational standards in safety, security, availability, productivity, capacity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. As a team member, you’ll collaborate with a diverse group of professionals, including software, hardware, and network engineers; supply chain specialists; security experts; operations managers; and other critical roles. Together, you’ll work across AWS to deliver the highest standards of safety and security while ensuring seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.
In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for the operation and maintenance of state-of-the-art critical infrastructure facilities based in Singapore. You will collaborate with a world-class technical team, working alongside some of the brightest and most talented engineers in the data center industry. Your responsibilities will include performing preventive maintenance on various facility equipment (such as electrical and mechanical, control, and fire-fighting systems), managing change processes, creating procedures, and overseeing vendor operations.
Key job responsibilities
• You will lead a team to plan and perform preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment’s, including but not limited to, chiller, air handling unit (AHU/CRAHU),fan coil unit (FCU), ventilation fan, split air conditioner (AC), pumps, leak detection systems, roller shutters, power distribution boards, UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply)batteries, and generators.
• Develop site specific documents including Maintenance checklist, EOP, SOP and RA.
• Service report preparation and submission for preventive and breakdown maintenance works.
• Ensure safe keeping of hand tools and maintain good housekeeping.
• Ensure all works are carried out safely and/or in accordance with established standards, procedures & local legislation.
• Any other tasks, when required by the immediate manager.
