This role ensures compliance with information security regulations and controls across APAC by managing regulatory exams, audits, and surveys. You will collaborate with internal teams to address regulatory inquiries and provide guidance on regional security alerts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the review and delivery of responses to regulatory exams, audits, surveys, and compliance engagements, ensuring senior management approval.
- Provide expert consultation to internal teams on alerts and advisories from regional regulators.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, submit, and manage non-financial regulatory reports (NFRR) related to information security.
- Assist in governance and escalation of potential regulatory-reportable cyber incidents.
- Lead and drive the Regulatory Exam Management team's initiatives in alignment with global strategies.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field; certifications like CISSP or CISA are a plus. Financial industry experience preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, risk management, or regulatory compliance.
- Strong operational mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of APAC laws and regulations impacting information security.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to senior management.
