The Sales Coordinator is responsible for contacting clients based upon leads provided or generated, promoting the services of ABS, booking meetings for senior sales or engineering personnel, follow-up and proposal support.
What You Will Do:
- Contacting clients via email and telephone to promote the services of ABS, regular ongoing follow-up
- Updating the client contact database
- Booking meetings for senior sales or engineering personnel, participation in meetings
- Registering ABS within clients’ procurement system
- Sales and marketing research
- Supporting development of presentations and proposals
- Ad hoc and administrative support to Business Development Director
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required(KSAR)
- Knowledge of Offshore and Subsea oil & gas sector
- Comfortable on the telephone, cold calling organizations or individuals to obtain information and book meetings
- Good oral and written communication skills; excellent telephone communication skills.
- Considerable attention to detail including a high degree of accuracy in data entry and interpretation.
- The ability and willingness to work in a team environment.
- Familiarity with database requirements and computer tools available to make use of such data.
- Good organizational, research & problem solving skills.
- Can-do approach to tasks and conscientious towards client service.
What You Will Need:
Minimum years of Experience
- 2 or more years of experience in the offshore, subsea oil and gas industry is preferred.
Required/ Preferred Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or recognized equivalent from an accredited university or equivalent sales/customer service experience, preferably in a business or technical discipline
