Our client is an alternative investment firm that invests in companies that have substantial potential for value realization and recovery. They adopt situations investment strategies and they focus in artificial intelligence (AI), Blockchain and emerging technologies sectors. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for Fund Operations and the position is based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities:

• Work closely with the investment and other team to support the operations of the deal process such as setting up entities, fund structures, deal execution support, portfolio monitoring etc
• Liaise with legal and tax consultants on investment structuring and tax planning etc
• Liaise with external service providers such as fund admin, auditors to ensure the overall smooth operations process
• Assist in the operational compliance and risk management for the firm
• Monitor and ensure the smooth operations process related to fund administration and reporting
• Oversee the management of fund cash flows such as capital calls and distributions etc
• Collaborate with different teams to ensure fund operations are in smooth and efficient manner
• Other ad-hoc duties related to fund operations and deal support

Key requirements

• Minimum 8 years of fund operations experience in private equity funds, private credit funds, special situations funds etc
• Strong experience in fund structures and deal support process
• Good knowledge in regulatory requirements across jurisdictions
• Good knowledge in deal execution process and operations workflows
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or other qualifications
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with different stakeholders
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and small office environment
