We are looking for 4 Marine insurance specialists to join our client in their Singapore based office as:

1. Marine Cargo / Hull Business Development Manager (between 1 and 6 years of experience) - 2 roles
2. Marine Cargo / Hull Account Manager - (between 1 and 6 years of experience) - 2 roles

• Reporting into the Head of Broking develop and execute strategies for new business penetration, with the purpose of gaining broking market share
• Evaluating existing sales practices and processes to enhance delivery and produce results
• Arranging new business meetings, creating and leading sales pitches
• Leading and closing complex sales\ and tenders
• Researching market trends and industry updates, for the purpose of building market credibility and knowledge
• Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure trust and long-term relationships conducive to new business activity
• Develop meaningful working relationships with insurers through regular contact and liaison to better serve clients

BDM - We will count on you to:

Client Manager - We will count on you to:

• Prepare and implement business plans and goals
• Build long-term relationships with key client decision makers and monitor changes within client organizations
• Manage all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are met in line with agreed service standards
• Recognize and document revenue generation, growth, and other opportunities by actively developing additional business from existing portfolios and other sources
• Identify and document successful account retention and defense strategies to ensure business is retained
• Maintain awareness of potentially complicated claim-related matters and assist claims personnel in negotiating equitable claim settlements on behalf of clients.
• Develop meaningful working relationships with insurers through regular contact and liaison to better serve clients

Our client is an international real estate investment fund with a strong track record in the region. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for a Fund Finance Manager and the position is based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities:

• Liaise with external fund administrator to review NAV calculations
• Review and oversight on fund accounting, capital account, fund performance calculation, management fee and incentive fee calculations etc
• Prepare and review financial statements, statutory reporting
• Prepare and review investor reporting
• Monitor cash flow such as investment payments and expense, treasury tasks, review bank reconciliations etc
• Manage audit and tax reporting processes
• Supervise and review team members’ work
• Other ad-hoc finance related duties when necessary

Key requirements

• Minimum 6 years of fund accounting and finance experience in Real Estate Fund Investment
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other accounting qualification
• Strong accounting and finance technical background with business acumen
• Good understanding in Real Estate industry
• Experience in supervising team members
• Strategic, motivated, detailed-oriented
• Good communication and presentation skills

Our client is a regional venture capital firm with a strong track record in the region. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for a Finance Manager to cover corporate accounting for the firm entity. The position is based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for management account monthly closing for management group companies;
• Prepare intercompany invoicing including counterpart’s subsidiaries and affiliates;
• Perform the monthly reconciliation of bank statements;
• Provide monthly consolidation of management group accounts, forecast cashflow and variance analysis on a timely basis;
• Provide the reimbursement of expenses to the Funds to portfolio controller on a quarterly basis;
• Manage indirect cost allocation and revenue recognition;
• In-charge of external audit and statutory reporting;
• Responsible for bank/exchange/custodian account opening for all entities including fund management group
• Process all vendor payments for all entities including fund and management group as well as maintai invoice tracker
• Maintain a database of bank information and company information
• Other project or adhoc task will be assigned

Key requirements

• At least 5 years corporate accounting experience in asset management / fund management industry
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or other accounting qualifications.
• Qualified Accountant / CPA is preferred
• Analytical in problem solving, able to make judgment/ recommendation
• Good interpersonal and business communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and work accurately with close attention to detail;
• Self-motivated, independent and fast learner

Key requirements
