The Position:
- Manage timely acquisition, archival and processing of stool samples
- Perform basic laboratory preparations and protocols
- Troubleshoot and resolve laboratory issues
· Maintenance of laboratory equipment and facilities.
- Ensure that SOP and safety regulations are followed
- Train interns in lab protocols and the safe use of lab equipment
- Liaise and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Project management
- Other Ad-hoc work as assigned by lab manager or lab head
Job requirements:
· Diploma/Degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences or other related discipline
- Proactive with positive attitude, able to work independently and as a team player.
- Able to multitask and produce good quality of work with tight timeline.
- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Keen interest in working at a start-up laboratory
- Organized person with the ability to follow detailed operational procedures closely
- Attention to detail and able to consistently perform work accurately according to our high standards
· Strong logical thinking, and communication skills
- Comfortable with handling stool specimens on a daily basis
- Well-organized with good monitoring and follow-up skills within tight deadlines
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
