Responsibilities:
· Ensure the timely completion of the month-end close process, and that financial reporting is accurate and compliant with group policies and regulatory standards.
· Maintenance of financial ledgers, accounting schedules and bank reconciliations.
· Ensuring timely reporting for Group Consolidation.
· Ensuring accurate and timely preparation and submission of tax and other statutory returns to government authorities.
· Coordinate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support and complete the financial tasks assigned.
· Support internal and statutory audits, ensuring the timely completion of audits and acting on issues and recommendations.
· Actively reviewing and recommending measures for continuous improvement in internal controls and business processes.
· Support improvement initiatives and ad-hoc activities as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
· At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
· Prior exposure to trading/ manufacturing operations.
· Degree in Accountancy or equivalent with relevant professional qualifications (CA/CPA)
· Strong technical accounting and reporting knowledge under Singapore GAAP and IFRS
· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
· Hands-on experience with SAP
· Good written and verbal communication skills
· Demonstrated ability to resolve issues/ get things done in a chaotic environment
