The expansion of Ampcontrol has created a unique opportunity for a Communication Systems Engineer, based at our Singapore Operations.
You will execute the delivery of complete automation systems through design, software development, office testing, implementation, commissioning and modification.
As a Communication Systems Engineer, your solutions for automation and control system network design will help drive that advantage.
The following skills or experience would be advantageous:
- Experience in other PLC and SCADA platforms
- Extensive experience in the design and manufacture of electrical equipment and control systems
- Process control and automated systems knowledge
- Experience in working in Tunnelling industry
Your willingness to be hands-on and thrive in a specialised and changing environment will be complemented by the following:
- Diploma/Associate Diploma level qualifications in electrical engineering
- Schneider PLC and SCADA programming skills
- Competent in MS Office applications, with high level Word and Excel skills
- Demonstrated experience/understanding of electrical switchgear and control systems
- Demonstrated experience in resolving problems – electrical fault finding and PLC troubleshooting
- Control systems and network design
