Duties of the Sales Executive /Engineer include:
- Sell products distributed by the company with a minimal amount of supervision.
- Handle customer inquiries, actively prospect, and conduct product presentations effectively.
- Develop customer interest in equipment, prepare quotations on ERP system and follow through for purchase orders.
- Negotiate with supplier and prepare purchase requisition on ERP system
- Achieve assigned sales target
- Maintains customer/prospect database (existing and new) and activity on the CRM system
- Prepares reports including forecasts, activities, etc
- Maintains digital marketing portfolio including LinkedIn and more.
- Stay current with trends and competitors to recommend new products to prospects
- Attends manufacturers' webinars; reviewing professional publications to keep technical knowledge up to date
- Provide support for local trade shows and conferences
