Key Responsibilities:

• Support and implement comprehensive corporate branding strategies that align with the company’s mission, values, and business objectives.
• Manage internal and external communications, ensuring consistent, transparent messaging across all channels. Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute strategies that communicate the company’s vision to employees, stakeholders, customers, and the media.
• Lead the development and execution of crisis communication strategies to protect and manage the company’s reputation during challenging times. Prepare crisis communication plans and guide teams on effective messaging to mitigate risk.
• Assist to drive strategic initiatives to increase brand awareness, enhance corporate identity, and position the company as a leader in the maritime industry.
• Facilitate the creation and delivery of branded content, including press releases, digital assets, presentations, reports, and social media content.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, media representatives, and industry influencers to drive brand engagement and awareness.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate communications, branding, or strategy, with a strong preference for a background in the maritime industry.
• Proven experience in managing internal communications, external media relations, and crisis communication efforts.
• Strong understanding of maritime operations, industry trends, regulations, and challenges.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to craft tailored messaging for diverse audiences.
• Solid project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong digital and social media marketing expertise.

We are exclusively representing a leading shipping company in search of a dynamic and detail-oriented Corporate Strategy Planning Executive to assist the CEO and Strategy & Planning Manager in driving corporate governance and ensuring strategic alignment throughout the organization.

This role will collaborate closely with the Executive Leadership Team to ensure business excellence on a day-to-day basis, and provide essential strategic and operational support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Executive Leadership Team to establish clear charters and delegated authority levels for various steering committees.
• Facilitate steering committee meetings to ensure consistent communication and effective decision-making processes.
• Manage the escalation of key decisions to the Executive Committee and ensure the flow of critical information from the committee to relevant teams.
• Support the Strategy & Planning Manager with strategic planning, maintaining the balanced scorecard, and managing stakeholders for projects related to geopolitics and government relations.
• Develop and maintain a rolling annual calendar of key business events to prevent scheduling conflicts and focus on strategic objectives.
• Lead the planning and execution of leadership events, including offsites and leadership conferences (both in-person and virtual).

Key Qualifications & Skills:

• A degree or diploma in Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in corporate strategy or planning is required, with experience in the maritime industry considered a strong advantage.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in visual presentation and report preparation.
