Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the allocated school premises by leading a team of two (2) Estate Development Officers (EDO).
• Guide and supervise the EDOs and contractors at the assigned blocks.
• Review the Approval Of Request (AOR), Invitation to Quote (ITQ) and Invitation to Tender (ITT) prepared by the EDOs.
• Assist in the procurement of vendors and services required, including management of contracts renewal.
• Assist to monitor the approved department budget.
• Implement use of technology in meaningful and effective ways to achieve higher operational efficiency and effectiveness. Seek ways to reduce costs and improve operational standards.
• Ensure consistency of policies and procedures with constant updating of documents, including drawings and OM&M.
• Conduct regular inspections of the blocks assigned and propose improvement works, if required.
• Ensure all works and vendors comply to the environment health and safety as per local code of practice.
• Calculate and compare costs for goods and services against market sensing to maximize cost effectiveness.
• Work closely with the Chief Safety officer to ensure compliance with the school’s fire guidelines.
• Review and update the emergency response plan and ensure compliance to fire safety requirement.
• Ensure timely renewal of the school fire certificate including working closely with the school’s incumbent service provider.
• Supervise the maintenance of all fire safety works, first aid boxes and CERT equipment within the school.
• Conduct daily checks within the school and remove any fire hazard that is observed. This includes the improvement of fire safety works in accordance with SCDF’s requirement.
• Prepare and submit the annual fire safety report.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Facilities Management or Engineering with minimum 2 years working experience in Mechanical & Electrical works and building related services; or
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in property or facilities management, facilities engineering, or related field.
• Possess experience in managing budget and finance-related matters.
• Certified Fire Safety Manager or equivalent and successful registration with SCDF as qualified FSM with at least 3 years of working experience.
• Able to work independently as well as a team player and able to work and resolve problems in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in school environment will be an added advantage.

As Chief Librarian, you are expected to be IT savvy and proficient in harnessing the power of technology to search for information. Your primary responsibilities are:

• To assist School Leaders in conceptualizing library of the future.
• To assist in rolling out plans related to developing library in line with school’s overall strategic directions and focus.
• To develop and enhance the library’s digital collection to support teaching and learning in school.
• To work with the relevant Deans and or Directors to create programmes which will further support and enhance teaching and learning.
• To manage the operational, administrative, procurement and budgetary functions of the Library;

The School Counsellor works closely with the school management and the Career Opportunities & Guidance (COG) Director in planning and implementing a school-wide higher education and career guidance system.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide professional and full-time support to students in their universities and scholarship applications.
• Set up and implement processes to facilitate current students and graduates in university and scholarship applications.
• Actively listening to students’ future concerns and help students towards a deeper understanding of their concerns and challenging any inconsistencies in what they say or do.
• Devise and deliver specialised higher education and career programmes for example the ACSI Higher Education & Careers Day and the ONE ACS Career Forum.

• Plan, organise and review specific enrichment programmes and bridging courses for the holistic development of students.
• Collaborate with external and overseas education institutions i.e. universities on talks and programmes for the students and teachers.

School Fees Collection

• To update and maintain the school enrolment system
• To prepare Interbank Direct Credit Giro collection
• To monitor and follow-up on the outstanding receivables
• To coordinate with the Accounts Payable team on any refunds

Receipts

• To oversee and monitor collections from staff, parents, students etc
• To prepare bank-in slips for banking
• To enter receipts into the SAGE accounting system

Reports

• To prepare periodic reports to the Ministry of Education
• To reconcile all fees scheme subsidies
• To prepare monthly Declaration of GEBiz Report

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma qualification

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Diploma in related discipline, minimum GCE ’O’ level
• Prior procurement experience in an educational institution would be an advantage
• Hands-on knowledge on GeBiz
• Effective interpersonal skills with good command of English
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
