The Appian Architect is a key technical leader responsible for designing, developing, and
implementing effective solutions using the Appian platform. They act as a trusted advisor to clients
and internal teams, ensuring successful application development and process automation.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into robust Appian applications.
• Design, develop, and implement Appian solutions adhering to best practices and industry standards.
• Provide technical leadership to development teams, guiding them throughout the Appian development lifecycle.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex Appian issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of Appian applications with existing systems and databases.
• Conduct performance evaluations and optimize Appian applications for improved speed and efficiency.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest Appian features and advancements, acting as a subject matter expert within the team.
• Provide support and guidance to junior team members, fostering continuous learning and growth.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience in designing and implementing Appian solutions with a strong understanding of Appian architecture.
• Deep knowledge of Appian components including Appian SAIL, Process Design, Rules, Security, and Integration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience working in Agile development methodologies is a plus.
