Job Descriptions

• Administer and provide assistance / day-to-day operational support for both on-premise and cloud software solutions (e.g. SAP, Documentum).
• Manage the security and performance of enterprise applications using tools like HP WebInspect, HP Fortify, Burp Suite, Web Application Firewall, and SlikPerformer.
• Play a project leader role for in-house system implementations.
• Manage small to medium-scale outsourcing projects. Responsible for preparing tender / RFQ specifications, evaluation, and implementation of the outsourced systems.
• Coordinate the design, release & deployment of systems with cross-functional team dependencies and impact.
• Coordinate and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and relevant training.
• Provide system documentation according to the Project Development Methodology.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to gather user feedback and schedule enhancements and modifications.
• Evaluate software package/productivity tools and make recommendations.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Computer Science or IT.
• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in the installation and administration of relevant SAP components (ECC, Fiori apps, Solution Manager, etc.), patches, and upgrades.
• Good knowledge of SAP Basis, security administration, client management, and change management in ABAP and Java Stack.
• Good experience in administering cloud solutions and platforms.
• Knowledge of Documentum administration will be advantageous.
• Good knowledge of Windows platform and SQL Server.
• Good knowledge of software development life cycles and structured project development methodology.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.

Job Description

• Lead in-house database implementation (both in the cloud and on-premise).
• Manage small to medium-scale projects and vendors (e.g. AWS and Microsoft).
• Responsible for preparing tender specifications, evaluation, and implementation of the outsourced systems.
• Participate in database (DB), database firewall (DB), and data warehouse (DWH) related matters or projects, including but not limited to:

1. Upgrades & patches.
2. Job scheduling and monitoring.
3. Performance monitoring and tuning.
4. Security management and integrity checks.
5. Space monitoring.
6. Backup and Recovery.
7. Disaster Recovery.

• Perform software tools administration (e.g. SQL Management Studio, SQL Server SSIS, PeopleSoft Data Mover, SAP GUI)
• Assist to administer the SAP system.
• Review and maintain DB-related policies, guidelines, and standards.
• Provide technical assistance and day-to-day operational support for existing DBs.
• Provide documentation according to the Project Development Methodology.

Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in Computer Science or IT.
• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in enterprise cloud and on-premise database and data warehouse implementation and administration.
• Well-versed in both cloud (e.g. AWS, Azure) and on-premise enterprise databases, database firewall, data warehouse technologies, configuration, and administration.
• Proficient in database installation, upgrade, maintenance, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of MS SQLServer and/or MYSQL.
• Experience in MS SQL Server is strongly preferred.
• Good knowledge of Windows, database backup and recovery (Symantec NetBackup), and cluster-failover technologies (Microsoft Cluster, SQL Server AlwaysOn).
• Experience in SAP Basis or Database Firewall administration will be advantageous.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
