Responsibilities - Accounting Work:
• Handle full set of accounts and prepare financial statements for audit purposes.
• Responsible for verifying invoices and processing vendor payments
• Responsible for billing customers and monitoring accounts receivable
• Prepare journals and monthly reconciliation schedules
• Prepare bank reconciliation statements
• Record and maintain fixed asset register
• Assist in daily operation and office related administrative support matters
• Perform data-entry and maintain efficient filing system for all documentation
• Assist the Director daily tasks and follow-up closely
• Run personal errands if required
• Able to work in a small team environment
• Other general administrative ad hoc duties assigned
Qualifications
• Diploma/degree in Accountancy or equivalent qualification
• 2-4 years relevant accounting work experience in finance, accounting or private equity industry.
• Ability to work independently and deal with multi-tasks scenario.
• Fast paced and dynamic working enviroment.
• Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and have practical working experience with accounting software systems (Xero)
• Ability to work with large amount of data including synthesizing and analysis
• Experience with visualisation, database and analytical tools (optional)
