Our client is one of Singapore’s leading A1 civil contracting firm which has a strong construction portfolio. They have just been awarded a new $600 million building project and is seeking for a competent a Senior Electrical Engineer to manage the project.
Job Description:
- Manage the electrical system installation, testing & commissioning as well as the mechanical system.
- Oversees and monitors overall day to day operations of M&E department
- Oversees the preparation and interpretation of M&E shop drawings and ensuring it is adhered according to the specifications and engineering calculations.
- Conducting site inspection, quality checks and method statement
- Identifying variation works and submit detailed cost implications to Contracts Manager
- Supervise and control sub-contractors to carry out their works in accordance with the M&E drawings and specifications
- Analyze and interpretation of reports on loading, labour, productivity, quality, materials and performance.
- Review monthly reports on M&E activities and report to management.
- Identify drawing discrepancies or flaws and constantly track construction progress and schedule on-site supervision
Requirements:
- Min Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering recognized by PE Board Singapore
- Min 5 years of project management experience in main-contractor
- Demonstrates strong technical competence and excellent time management skills
