Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced O-RAN Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of O-RAN technology and a proven track record of successfully implementing O-RAN projects. This role requires a strong technical foundation, strategic thinking, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Roles and Responsibility
- Lead the technical and strategic implementation of O-RAN projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Provide expert guidance on O-RAN architecture, design, and deployment, including RAN Intelligent Controller (RIC) and xApps development.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of O-RAN devices and systems, including performance, interoperability, and security testing.
- Develop and implement robust CI/CD and DevOps processes for O-RAN deployments, ensuring efficient and reliable operations.
- Act as a trusted adviser partnering with the customer on their technical strategy positioning and end-user understanding in their IT or telco network(prefer both)domains for digital transformation.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in O-RAN technology and industry trends, and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Define the roadmap for blueprint and customer solution keeping in mind for future up-scopes. Lead the technical analysis or a team within a large program with minimum supervision or independently lead small programs end to end
- Apply next generation digital solution architecture methodology, best practices, and state of the art knowledge on network and operations.
Minimum Qualification
- Engineering Degree in Computer Science/Information technology/Electronics & Communication or in related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in container software (Kubernetes, Docker) and very well understanding of cloud automation.
- Must have minimum of 3 years of experience on O-RAN deployment and orchestration in any telecom network and hands-on experience with O-RAN devices, including base stations, DU/CU split, and RIC.
- Must have clear idea on CI/CD and devops processes.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of the software-based mobile network landscape.
- Exceptional project management abilities, including the ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
