Job Description:

We are looking for a knowledgeable, detail-oriented audio-visual technician to join our team. The responsibilities of the audio-visual technician include transporting equipment, setting up sound and lighting equipment, maintaining and ordering inventory.

To ensure success as an AV technician, you should have advanced knowledge of audio and video equipment, experience with lighting and filming techniques, and excellent troubleshooting skills.

The job will require you to work with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth running of conferences, exhibition, concerts and many more!

Ultimately, we are looking for a technician who should be able to create superb audio and visual effects to enhance any live experience.

Responsibilities:

• To have prior experience in transporting, assembling, operating, and repairing equipment used for events, multimedia production
• Meeting with Event Coordinators to discuss audio, lighting, and video requirements.
• Altering venue arrangements according to layout diagrams.
• Laying electrical and sound cables.
• Setting up and installing microphones, lights, video monitors, projectors, speakers, and video cameras.
• Conducting sound, visual, and performance quality checks on AV equipment.
• Operating sound and visual equipment during live events.
• Troubleshooting equipment and ensuring events run smoothly.
• Maintaining strong customer relations.
• Disassembling audio and visual equipment and packing up after the event.
• Store Packing post event

If you are someone who possesses:

Requirements:

• Diploma/ certification in audio-visual, live sound engineering, or a similar field.
• Previous experience working as an AV technician.
• In-depth knowledge of sound, video, and lighting equipment.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Good level of physical fitness
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Conceptualize, create and design high quality visual and digital materials for digital media platform
• Designs and builds digital media content and maintains our social media presence
• Adhere to brand guidelines and complete projects according to deadline
• Able to manage and prioritize concurrent projects' timeline, ensure deliverables are met in high standards
• Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing
• Participate in creative brainstorming for pitches and content planning
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Arts / Design / Visual Communications or equivalent field.
• Good knowledge of design software skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD, Adobe Premier Pro, Blender etc.
• Good knowledge in video editing, graphic design, illustration and brand design.
• Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
• Proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the industry
• Self-motivated yet customer-focused
• A strong work ethnic, positive attitude and genuine desire to learn and progress to the management role
• Attention to detail, deadline-oriented, acute vision
• Excellent communication skills(verbal, written and illustrative)

For 2024/25 our team are leading initiatives to market products and working with external talent / hosts to push different campaigns. Joining us you can expect to grow a wide range of content portfolio from corporate video productions, event highlight videos to live stream shows and entertainment.

Responsibilities

- Develop compelling original short form newsy entertainment video content for social media

- Able to work independently as well as with our internal media team and freelancers to ensure successful development, execution, and delivery of content.

- Abe to conceptualize, film and edit video.

- Familiar with various file formats and conversions.

- Must have knowledge of Adobe creative suite, After Effects, Photoshop etc.

Qualifications

- Proven track record as a creative storyteller. Strong familiarity and/or proficiency in video production

- At least 1 year's experience producing video content either in professional or personal capacity

- Diploma / Degree in Mass Communication/Visual Communication or any related discipline

- Strong command of English language with interest in and knowledge of soft news and lifestyle news

- An understanding of what drives social media content and how it should be presented

- Strong industry network an advantage

- Good organizational and time management skills. Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
