Key Responsibilities

· Markets Opportunity Analysis: Identify growth opportunities, evaluate market potential, and analyze competition within Southeast Asia, South Asia, and Oceania for ARKRAY’s product range in Diabetes, Urinalysis, Point-of-Care Testing, and Veterinary Diagnostics.

· Sales Strategy Development: Create and execute tailored sales strategies to drive growth across assigned regions, ensuring ARKRAY products meet the needs of various markets.

· Distributor Relationship Management: Build and manage strong, long-lasting relationships with both new and existing distributors, ensuring successful sales performance and revenue growth.

· Partnership Expansion: Identify and establish new distributor partnerships in both established and emerging markets to expand ARKRAY's footprint.

· Cross-Department Collaboration: Serve as the key point of contact for distributors, working closely with internal teams (Regulatory Affairs, Scientific Affairs, Logistics, Service, etc.) to streamline the sales process and resolve any issues efficiently.

· Market Intelligence s Travel: Conduct regular business trips to maintain and strengthen distributor relationships, and gather valuable market insights to inform sales strategies.

Qualifications Experience

· Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field.

· Experience: Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the medical device or IVD (In Vitro Diagnostics) industry.

Overview:

The Scientific Affairs Officer is a key member of the Scientific Affairs team of ARKRAY Singapore. You will report to the Manager of Scientific Affairs in the Singapore office. This role focuses on communication of scientific knowledge on ARKRAY’s medical devices and services to our distributors and customers in selected markets of Asia Pacific. You will also work closely with our Sales team in supporting sales to prospective distributors and customers, as well as maintaining relationships with existing distributors and customers within Asia Pacific. In addition, the Scientific Affairs Officer will also provide support on regulatory affairs to our Sales team and distributors. This role will involve working with other Scientific Affairs Officers in other Southeast Asia markets, as well as the scientific team in ARKRAY Headquarters, Japan, to carry out a coordinated approach of enhancing the scientific knowledge of our distributors and customers.

Job Responsibilities

• To provide timely and comprehensive support to our distributors and customers on application-related inquiries.
• To create high quality scientific marketing materials (e.g. newsletters) for our distributors and customers.
• To create and conduct high quality presentations on ARKRAY’s products and latest development of the diagnostic industry to distributors and customers.
• To organise or participate in events (e.g. exhibitions or webinars) organised by ARKRAY Singapore or distributors to raise awareness of ARKRAY’s products and services.
• To create and conduct easy-to-understand product training for ARKRAY members, distributors and customers.
• To support ARKRAY Sales team and distributors, and when required, liaise with ARKRAY headquarters’ regulatory team on regulatory matters related to ARKRAY medical devices and services.
• To participate proactively in meetings with other global Scientific Affairs personnel to exchange information for enhancing the overall scientific knowledge of ARKRAY.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a good command of both written and spoken English. Fluency in a second language will be advantageous.
• Able to create and conduct high quality presentations in person or online.
• Able to work in a team environment with effective interpersonal skills and able to work independently.
• Possess a professional demeanor and strong work ethic, as well as the ability to adapt to different cultures.
• Possess a customer-oriented attitude with an attention to detail.
• Able to operate Microsoft Office.
• Willing to travel overseas for short work trips.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ working experience in the diagnostic industry.
• Experience in the marketing field (either in a leading or supporting role).
• Experience in conducting market research to analyze customers’ and competitors’ trends and habits through customer visits and online research.
• Experience in creating and localising marketing materials for various marketing platforms.
• Experience in monitoring and maintaining existing marketing channels and ensuring compliance with local regulations or requirements.

- Sorting of Director’s reimbursement claims, checking staff’s reimbursement claims, arranging payment to staff & vendor, prepare monthly list on payments, communicating with headquarters in Japan

· Sales support

- Sales reports (actual, forecast) submission and etc.

- Communicate with distributors, logistic management, order placement

- To help our salesteam

- Documentation work

· HR Operation

- Onboarding and offboarding, applying Working Pass for expats, staffs HR inquiry, attendance management, MOM surveys and etc

· Other secretarial and adhoc tasks

Qualifications/Requirements

· Fluency in English a must.

· Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word).

· High communication skills, pro-business attitude and independence.

· Desired personality: Considerate and thoughtful, and capable of working with a positive attitude.

· Candidates with work experience in Singapore are preferred.

· Candidates with experience performing the above roles preferred.
