Job Description Summary:

- To maintain all different production equipment to generate the best desired output, overall equipment effectiveness, mean time between failure and mean time to repair.

Responsibilities:

-Production machinery and equipment maintenance • Maintain and repair all different production equipment to generate the best desired output, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR)

- Troubleshoot in accordance with the checklists, monitoring procedures, mini specification, and any engineering instructions in compliance with customers’ requirement and internal quality standards.

- Perform real-time equipment troubleshooting, repair, calibration and conduct periodic and non-periodic equipment preventive maintenance

- Manage spare part inventory and maintain the production facility clean and safe. • Ensure that materials are used and handled appropriately to avoid scraps

- Perform daily 5S housekeeping and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)

Requirements:

- Diploma in Mechanical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent

- Entry level candidate are welcomed to apply as training provided.

- Able to work on 12 hours shift.

- Manufacturing experience would advantage.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Summary/ Objective:

The Automation Engineer Position will assist in plant operations contributing towards improving manufacturing efficiency by utilizing software such as PLC, HMI, and motion control. To contribute to a work environment where fairness, equality, and non-discriminatory practices are the standard.

Key Responsibilities:

General Equipment

• Identifies or addresses malfunctions of plant operational equipment. Proactively involved in identifying the defects in the operational equipment and finding out ways in which can be rectified.
• Monitors plant equipment operation and performance, adjusting to performance specifications.
• Communicates the status of operating equipment to production supervisors or managers.
• Maintain logs and reports. work requests, or other records of work performed in the plant.
• propose improvements to prevent the re-occurrence of trouble, and target set not more than 3 times similar incident.
• Coordinate with all contractors/supplies for in-house periodic maintenance including plant facilities and repairs.

PLC & Software

1. Able to read and write Siemens S7 PLC & HMI codes.
2. Knowledge of serial communication.
3. Knowledge of programming languages

Other Operational Duties

Maintain proper documentations
Housekeeping of spare parts, tools, and accessories.
Initiate and participate in continuous improvement projects
As assigned by Managers.

Competencies

1. Electrical design and drawing.

2. Install, calibrate, program modification, operate, and simulate the industrial Robot such as FANUS using Siemens S7 PLC, and HMI.
3. Work with Suppliers and Vendors to determine selection of proper components.
4. Perform installations/commissioning of machine/robot.

Travel:

1. Travel for this position is up to 30%.

Required Education and Experience:

• Diploma / Degree in engineering discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing industries with an automation background.
• A proven record of accomplishment in automation work will be advantageous.
• Required hands-on experience and remote support.
