•Responsible for preparing cost estimations and drafting of tender documents.
•Involved in tender documents, tender evaluation, and contract administration such as processing of payments, valuation of variations and assessment of claims.
•Involved in costing analysis and creating contracts for procurement.
•Provide contractual advice and ensure that all contractual matters are in compliance with the client's procurement and financial guidelines.
•Work closely with customers on reviewing existing contracts and suggesting variations to meet their business needs.
•Control project scope to meet project objectives in order to enhance project deliverables and key work activities
•Reviews work specifications, take-off quantity, costing and liaising with site engineers, clients, contractors and sub-contractors who are involved in the project
•Coordinate the procurement of materials and suppliers for the projects and ensure expenses are limited within budget.
•Attend site meetings as required
•Lead and/or support projects from pre-contract to completion, ensuring that work is completed within the timeline and budget
•Other ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time by Management.
Requirements:
•Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering/ Quantity Surveying/ Building or equivalent
•Provides effective support to Project Team and establishes good working relationships with Project Managers, Clients, Contractors, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders.
•Relevant commercial, M&E, Infrastructure projects, QS experience
•Have relevant QS experience specializing in the landed houses construction industry / related industry.
•At least 2 years of experience in the construction or related industry
•Highly motivated, self-driven with initiative to work independently and meticulous
•Independent, committed, good interpersonal skills, and a team player
•Strong command of English
