Construction Engineer

Requirements:

· Candidate must possess at least a diploma in civil engineering/ construction / or any related field.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the overall control of project quality and technical work, implementation of major technical decisions and technical plans.

· Solve technical problems at the construction site and monitor the quality of ongoing works

· Managing and coordinating with different sub-contractors and suppliers and all relevant parties

Construction Project Manager

Requirements:

· Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or any related field.

· At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Responsibilities:

· Monitor and manage the day-to-day operations of the project, or function, including developing and monitoring budgets, coordinating activities with other sub contractors.

· Handle contractual matters that arise

· Ensure safety compliance and quality control

· Liaise and coordinate with client, QS, authorities, subcontractors and all relevant parties

· Develop schedule to ensure that all site activities are tracked closely and monitored

· Manage project budgets and timelines, identifying and addressing potential delays

· Knowledge of construction industry regulations, building codes, and safety standards

· Attend site meetings, and monitor progress of projects, ensuring smooth progress of projects

•Responsible for preparing cost estimations and drafting of tender documents.

•Involved in tender documents, tender evaluation, and contract administration such as processing of payments, valuation of variations and assessment of claims.

•Involved in costing analysis and creating contracts for procurement.

•Provide contractual advice and ensure that all contractual matters are in compliance with the client's procurement and financial guidelines.

•Work closely with customers on reviewing existing contracts and suggesting variations to meet their business needs.

•Control project scope to meet project objectives in order to enhance project deliverables and key work activities

•Reviews work specifications, take-off quantity, costing and liaising with site engineers, clients, contractors and sub-contractors who are involved in the project

•Coordinate the procurement of materials and suppliers for the projects and ensure expenses are limited within budget.

Requirements:

•Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering/ Quantity Surveying/ Building or equivalent

•Provides effective support to Project Team and establishes good working relationships with Project Managers, Clients, Contractors, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders.

•Relevant commercial, M&E, Infrastructure projects, QS experience

•Have relevant QS experience specializing in the landed houses construction industry / related industry.

•At least 2 years of experience in the construction or related industry

•Highly motivated, self-driven with initiative to work independently and meticulous

•Independent, committed, good interpersonal skills, and a team player

•Strong command of English

Responsibilities:

• Oversee construction activities and progress, planning, implementing and monitoring work schedules in accordance with master work schedules and established budgets and ensuring delivery of quality work that meets contractual requirements
• Oversee quality control on site and together with the safety team, ensure Environmental, Health and Safety practices are carried out effectively by all parties (internal & external) working on site
• Manage and control workers on site and monitor their work closely to ensure quality standards and keep site safe and neat

• Manage and coordinate with purchasing department and various suppliers for timely purchase of materials & supplies (e.g. rebar, formwork, concrete, scaffolds, sanitary fittings) to site, delivery checking and verification to execute contract works and ensure no delays or gaps in schedule
• Inspect sites to monitor job progress and assess and ensure conformance to engineering plans, specifications and construction standards

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering or any related fields
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in Construction or Site Management
• Independent, meticulous in work, good leadership, manpower & resources allocation, and problem solving skills, team player, with ability to plan work efficiently in advance and build rapport with all levels of stakeholders
• Ability to speak and write well in English

- Lead a team of 15-20 employees to fulfill monthly targets within deadlines

- Manage procurement of construction materials, and negotiate favorable contracts with suppliers

- Implement safety protocol, preventing workplace accidents to control risk
