The role

Arta Finance is on an audacious and incredibly rewarding mission: to pave the way for people everywhere to lead more successful financial lives. We are looking for research engineers to build great technology that drives this mission forward. We value trust, teamwork, and adaptability.

As a research scientist, you will be responsible for supporting our team of experienced product leaders, engineers and researchers in the design, implementation, and analysis of experiments related to financial products and user experience.

What you will do

Survey the latest research in areas such as natural language processing and large language models, computer vision, deep learning, and general machine learning to help build innovative AI solutions that drive our product
Engage in strategic discussions and help build tactical road-maps & timelines for the AI research team
Planning and execute experimental research projects
Analyze data collected from experiments using statistical and data analysis tools
Write clean, concise, and well-tested code to support automated machine learning processes

Who you are

You have a proven track record of being able to work collaboratively, independently, strategically and with sound judgment
You have 2+ years of experience working on ML technologies/methodologies (including infrastructure work)
You have experience with developing with deep learning framework such as PyTorch or Tensorflow in Python and / or C++ and with distributed computing systems
You have a solid understanding of computer science for machine learning and data mining
You are excited about joining a fast-paced startup environment
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
