The Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting in the maintenance of mechanical or electrical installations and equipment. Provides general assistance in the maintenance of the company’s plant, machinery, building and associated facilities. Carries out routine inspection and servicing of the company’s mechanical and electrical installations, building and associated facilities, refrigeration plants and air-conditioning units, plumbing and sanitary systems, machinery and equipment. Attends to complaints from users and carries out minor repairs. Monitors and keeps daily records of readings on various gauges, thermometers, pumps and other equipment and makes the necessary adjustments to correct any malfunctioning.
· Equipment in a safe and operational state of readiness at all times in order to fulfil daily operation requirements.
· Carry out preventive maintenance checks on allocated machines
· Carry out troubleshooting on the allocated machines to find the root cause and repair the defective machines to minimize downtime.
· Actively works on ongoing review, improve & monitor manufacturing capabilities to improve operational performance and efficiencies.
Requirements:
- ITE/Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical related will be preferred
- Able to read, write and communicate in English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office preferred - outlook, excel & word
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Has ownership and team player value
- Has Experience Industrial Electrical
- Clean up the work area after completion of the task
