Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provide leadership and management to continuously improvement on maintenance operations and support
production process equipment.
2. Work collaboratively within Production unit (Production, Engineering, and Electrical & Instrumentation) and other functions.
3. Ensure safety is integrated in every aspect of work performed by APS standard
4. To meet the production operations is supported with maintenance services to meet the Asahi Kasei Business needs.
5. Optimize equipment uptime, equipment reliability, and equipment efficiency by analyzing equipment performance data and maintenance practices and recommend improvements to procedures, systems and approaches.
6. Enhance or create effective maintenance programs to promote maximum equipment availability, capacity, productivity, and elimination of production discrepancies.
7. Provide troubleshooting and diagnosis of machinery / equipment failure to determine the root cause and perform immediate corrective action.
8. To manage analysis of maintenance data to identify trends equipment and organizational performance that adversely affect efficiency, cost quality, plant capacity, and production throughput. Implement recommendations on actions that can be taken to reverse adverse trends.
9. Manage the creation and review of maintenance procedures and policies
10. Manage development and implementation of enhancements designed to increase efficiency, effectiveness and quality while reducing costs
11. Ensure that documentation needs are provided within the context of maintenance programs.
12. Maintain an excellent employee workplace through the coaching, development and training of employees.
13. Provide reports to management as required.
14. Manage and control Maintenance Operation cost, and prepare and monitor Annual Maintenance Budget
15. Manage contractors / vendors progress in accordance to work schedule
16. Planning of site work schedule
17. Resolution of site issues encountered
18. Establish new capabilities and infrastructure to support company business growth plan
19. Analyse failure trends and implement corrective actions
20. Any other tasks as and when assigned by the management.
21. Able to liase closely with Japanese counterparts and Japan Headquarter.
22. Working closely with internal colleagues and external colleagues (Japan) for trouble-shooting and analytical.
Requirements:
· Degree in Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
· Able to use PC and MS Office programs
· Minimum 10-12 years relevant experience in Oil/Chemical/Plastics industries is an advantage
· Knowledge of mechanical plants and materials
