Duties & Responsibilities
1.Draft process improvement idea with the objectives to improve process / occupational safety, improve product safety / quality, reduce energy consumption, improve production capacity / productivity, and reduce costs.
2. Implement Process Improvement idea via Management of Change system and/or Non-regular work system.
3. Coordinate, arrange and plan new grade trial run with R&D and Operation team, and handle the trial run and the evaluation.
4. Evaluate process performance and key process parameters from long term view and/or periodically to uncover potential risk that may leads to plant instability, safety or quality issues.
5. Troubleshoot plant trouble related to process, perform root cause analysis and propose corrective and preventive measures as process engineering function and/or based on request basis.
6. Participate actively in HAZOP , FMEA and Control plan studies as Process engineering function for safety and quality improvement.
7. Oversee Process related capital expenditures project from conceptual design up to Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Lead the project assigned by (assistant) manager of department.
8. Study and implement Industry 4.0 related technologies as part of Productivity Improvements and Process improvement Projects
9. Participate in Company EHSQ program and cooperate with its promotion and improvement.
10. Collaborates with other departments in Management systems such as ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, SS651, IATF16949, Safety Case regime, Energy management system and ISCC plus as process engineering function
11. Perform study as Process Engineering Function such as NRW, MOC and as per request from other departments.
12. Keep and maintain safe and health work environment.
Requirements
1. A Bachelor / Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering
2. 3 year(s) of working experience in Petrochemical Industries (Preferred).
3. For Senior position, at least 5 year(s) working experience in Petrochemical Industries.
4. Possession of Singapore Certified Energy Manager (Preferred)
5. Familiarity with Safety Case Regime
6. Familiarity with IATF 16949 standard (Preferred)
7. Familiarity with ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and SS651.
8. Familiarity with IEC 61511 standard (Preferred)
9. Familiarity with Process Simulation software such as Aspen Plus®, Aspen
HYSYS®.
10. Familiarity with Distributed Control System (DCS), in particular its logic and sequence modification.
11. Able to multi-task and handle a wide spectrum of responsibilities.
12. Good interpersonal skills and strong analytical skills.
