The Senior Officer, Security is responsible for protecting assigned premises, assets, and personnel. He is expected to detect and deter potential threats. His duties include performing access control, conducting security screening, attending to enquiries from stakeholders, patrolling and guarding premises, and loss prevention of guest/company assets as well as managing incidents and emergencies.

He may be required to work in rotating shifts and must be physically fit. He is expected to be vigilant, decisive, and possess effective communication skills. He must be well-groomed and pleasant when interacting with stakeholders.

Job Description

Perform access security functions
- Attend to enquiries a from guests
- Conduct security screening of visitors, property, or vehicle
- Authorise and facilitate access to property
- Arrange security rosters and duty posts to ensure all access point are being taken care of
- Assist in the manning of the Fire Command Centre

Detect security threats
- Regulate crowd and traffic in property
- Conduct security patrols in premises
- Guard premises
- Handling of suspicious persons or items or cases
- Noted and report irregularities

Manage incidents
- Assist authorities and management in enforcement
- Plan remedial action of incidences
- Request for assistance within guarded premise in the event of emergencies
- Assist in evacuation in the event of emergencies.
- Be responsible for ensuring that the information and records processed (received, created, used, stored, destroyed) on behalf of the organisation are managed in compliance with all applicable legislation, codes and policies e.g. Data Protection, Information Security and Records Management

Team mentorship
- Guide junior loss prevention officers and support them to achieve their targets

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Report to Finance Manager and is responsible in the efficient and effective function in Accounts Payable.
• To ensure the creditor aging balance is accurate and reconcile with vendor statement.
• To ensure that the payment process is initiated on a timely basis.
• To collect and review all documents necessary for preparation of the payment run (purchase request, purchase order, receiving record, invoice, etc). Ensure the mathematical accuracy and completeness of the transaction before filing them by supplier name, awaiting payment.
• To prepare Payable Vouchers and initiate the payment process in a timely manner.
• To perform all Accounts Payable sub-ledger postings and to verify that Accounts Payable subledger and General Ledger balances agree.
• To maintain the filing system for creditors’ and ensure that on-hand outstanding invoices match with A/P ageing report as per the system.
• To perform monthly reconciliations between AP sub ledger accounts and supplier statements. To print a system generated payment summary and ensure the prompt payment of all invoices selected.
• Stamping all documents “paid” once the payment approval process is completed, to prevent the risk of double payment in the future.
• To properly monitor the issuance of payment and liaise with vendor on discrepancies.
• To pay and disburse petty cash to both internal and external staff members.
• Liaise with inter-related departments for accrual on end of month and year end closing

REQUIREMENTS

• Have at least 1 year experience in hotel industry
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Oracle is an added advantage.
• Possess good communication and problem-solving skills.

The F&B Ambassador will be responsible for assisting in the restaurant operations to ensure that the guest experience, beverage quality and departmental revenue and profit goals meet its highest standard. He or she will report directly to the Restaurant Manager.

• Greet and guide customers to their tables and assist them in seating
• Manage a waiting list and seating chart
• Print special occasion menu and set up table accordingly
• Check table arrangement before and during service, ensuring table requests are met whenever possible
• Check on guests regularly to ensure their satisfaction and promptly resolve any issues or concerns.
• Coordinate with bartenders to serve beverages and ensure that alcoholic beverages are served responsibly and in compliance with legal requirements.
• Assist with general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing workstations and dining areas.
• Monitor and restock supplies as needed, such as napkins, straws, and condiments.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to address any issues or special requests from guests.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

Mixologist

• Ensure that alcoholic drinks are served in accordance with the state and local laws, ordinance, rules and regulations.
• Know how to use bar equipment efficiently and safely.
• Help control wastage and costs by ensuring that daily bar inventory is kept.
• Maintain bar sanitation.
• Prepare drinks promptly.
• Accommodate taste preferences of individual guests.
• Keep control of the cash (if any), alcohol storerooms and other limited access areas.
• Demonstrate suggestive selling and up-selling.
• Keep proper inventory and requisition of bar stock.
• Make entries in the Bar Logbook.
• Always maintain professional confidentiality.
• Make sure that all products served are accounted for on the final bill before presenting it.
• Clear tables throughout the guest’s experience in accordance with the hotel’s standard operating procedure.
• Adjust services to suit guests’ requests and personalizes any interaction with them.
• Support review simulation processes and update evaluation criteria for a smooth operation.

Job Requirement

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar capacity.
• Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean.
• Passionate in bar tendering.
