Are you passionate about audio-visual technology? Join our team as an AV technician and take charge of operating and managing AV and video conference (VC) systems for a range of virtual and physical events. From ensuring seamless setups and tests to conducting preventive maintenance and producing maintenance reports, you'll play a vital role in keeping our AV systems running smoothly. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to building, mechanical, and electrical maintenance tasks.
The roles and responsibilities will be as follows:
- Equipment Setup and Maintenance: Setting up, installing, and configuring AV equipment such as projectors, sound systems, microphones, etc. Ensuring all equipment is in proper working condition, conducting regular maintenance, and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Event Support: Providing AV support for school events, meetings, presentations, etc. This includes assisting with equipment setup, operating AV systems during the event, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring a smooth audio and visual experience for participants.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving technical problems related to AV equipment, software, and connectivity. This includes identifying issues with audio or video quality, troubleshooting network connections, resolving software conflicts, or addressing hardware malfunctions.
Other duties include:
- Assisting in solutions pertaining to ICT-related problems;
- Providing consultancy and assisting all users in ICT-related matters and problems;
- Providing technical assistance in preparation of special events such as Open House, conferences, competitions , projects, etc;
- Providing assistance for photography / videography, i.e recording and editing of photo and videos, during events and ad-hoc requests from users
Candidates looking to apply should minimally have the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
- Possesses at least one year of working experience in AV and media support.
- Possesses experience in photography and the creation of video montages.
- Proficient in the use of photo and video editing software, such as Final Cut Pro, Cyberlink Power Director, etc.
- Possesses at least a Nitec or higher certification in AV/media-related discipline.
