MAJOR ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Diagnose and correct equipment failure (hardware and software) in breakdown maintenance.
- Coordinate with production and mechanical personnel on breakdown maintenance.
- Plan for urgent follow-up equipment repair.
- Address the minor stops with systematic approach, and provide a permanent solution.
- Perform calibration on all the measurement devices
- Analyze breakdown of more than 30min
Preventive Maintenance
- Maintain work system in Maximo System.
- Execute Preventive maintenance Tasks.
- Feedback good suggestion to improve the PM work order
- Execute a simple Preventive maintenance tasks during the change over
- Able to observe the abnormality during the PM and providing the solution
Efficiency Improvement
- Execute equipment improvement and modification.
- Analyze/Monitor equipment breakdown and suggest appropriate improvement.
- Suggest improvements on work methods and procedures.
- Take the opportunity from the RCFA, provide a solution for a preventive action
Automation System
- Perform automation system back up.
- Trouble shooting of hardware and software problems on the automation system.
- Modification of control program for improvement/project and removal of bugs.
- Modify programs (PLC / UNIX) to improve the methodology of process and the requirement.
Electrical
- Maintenance of equipment electrical circuits.
- Servicing of electrical motors
- Perform modification for the process / or layout conversion.
Instrument
- Trouble shooting of basic instrument; temperature, control valve, pressure.
Overhaul
- Execute annual equipment overhaul program.
Spare Parts management
- Highlight spare parts requirement and shortages based on inventory and work requirement.
Result Energy Consumptions Targets are met
- Carry out repair and inspection to ensure that no energy is wasted due to poor upkeep of equipment
- Monitor the critical energy parameter with Engineer and assist them with recommended solution.
- Participate the Energy savings projects and help the department
Result Documentation are updated and recorded
- Raise SMR for change request and documentation.
- Update Drawings/Schematics of changes made.
- For every breakdown, write down the recovery activities in the “Daily downtime monitor log” without failed
Result Continuous improvement
- Participate and practice TPM policy and star point system.
- To initiate Small Group Activities to eliminate re-occurring problems and to optimize our Brewing and packaging process.
- To participate as PM team leader / PM member to carry out structural PM activities like breakdown analysis, loss deployment, generate OPL, RCFA analysis, and create Visual inspection to support AM activities
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of working experience in Process control / Automation in a manufacturing environment and/or Food processing industries with practices in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering.
- Good planning, supervisory, interpersonal and analytical skills. PLC/DCS and Microsoft Office experience is essential.
- Demonstrate the ability to analyze, solve problems and lead others in problem solving and execute tasks assign
- PLC/DCS programming and troubleshooting.
- Motor servicing and control circuitry.
- Understanding of electrical schematics.
- Sensors selection and maintenance.
- VSD maintenance
- Basic Instrumentation (added advantage)
- Maintenance of SCADA system (added advantage)
- Able to work shift.
