Sales will be in your DNA, and meeting clients face to face will be essential.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall show performance, leading the sales team, recruitment and management of sales agents in collaboration with the international sales team.
- Proactively ensure the success of events whilst maximising profits, as directed by the commercial director.
- Manage the sales managers, sales agent network and sales team
- Recruit and manage territory sales agents to cover Indian, South Korean and Chinese markets and in collaboration with the international sales team where appropriate
- Develop a campaign strategy with the sales team that meets and exceeds targets
- Ensure the sales plan is being delivered to target, to budget and that activity targets (outbound call volumes, on-line meetings and face-to-face meetings) are met
- Through research, analysis, developing relationships and market intelligence, implement strategies and initiatives to ensure the on-going growth and sustainability of events.
- Produces a coherent brand strategy for your events to maintain and increase relevance to all markets, meeting visitor and exhibitor expectations.
- Overall accountability for meeting and exceeding budgeted gross.
Requirements:
- A Bachelors Degree and a minimum 7-8 years of sales experience in the exhibitions industry.
- Strong sales track record
- Prior experience in the South Korean and China markets would be a plus.
Strong understanding of the exhibitions market with ability to stay updated on trends.
- Excellent sales, interpersonal, and negotiation skills required.
