ASME, the Association of Small & Medium Enterprises, has a vacancy for a Communications Intern. You will play a part in empowering SMEs to secure the economic security of Singapore. You will have the opportunity to work alongside the Communications team to raise ASME’s profile and engage its members by producing content for ASME’s corporate and social media platforms. You will also learn to collaborate across departments to help deliver ASME’s broad range of initiatives, events and programmes.
A good performance may lead to a full-time staff position after the period of internship.
You will have the opportunity to:
· Help execute a social media plan aligned with advocacy and marketing objectives and brand guidelines.
· Create engaging and informative content for various platforms, including designing posts and creating videos.
· Design marketing collaterals for events such as seminars and workshops.
· Draft content for the corporate website and e-newsletter.
· Draft media releases, talking points and speeches.
· Contribute to drafting responses for the media and opinion editorials.
You will likely:
· Have a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, English language, or a related field
· Have a flair and passion for writing
· Be meticulous and have an eye for detail
· Be highly adept at using social media platforms
· Have experience in creating content for social media
