You will plan, implement and manage the following IT infrastructure to support the digitalisation requirements of the organisation and the maritime community:

• Database Administration
• Compliance requirements for IT infrastructure, cyber-security and critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Sybase, Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases supporting various application systems.
• Maintain high availability and optimal performance of the databases, web application servers and web servers through database or OS clustering.
• Review of application design and coding for efficient database access.
• Manage security protections on Production, Disaster Recovery, Acceptance and Test computing environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in administration of Sybase or Oracle databases including RAC and Dataguard, MSSSQL Servers.
• Experience with Unix/Linux operating system, Veritas/Oracle Clustering, Oracle WebLogic application servers and Oracle web servers running on various server platforms, cloud native databases and Nutanix will be an advantage.
• Experienced in Unix scripting to automate DBA tasks including regular maintenance jobs
• Ability in resolving database alerts and issues
• Proactive capacity monitoring and performance analysis
• Experience in patching and upgrading Oracle Dataguard and RAC environment

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer (Network Intrusion Prevention System) to join us in our mission to improve Singapore’s competitiveness as a trusted ICT hub for citizens and businesses.

A brief summary of your job responsibility:

• Lead the implementation of enterprise network security system such as Network IPS, Network Detection and Forensics which includes Contractor management, design validation and test acceptance.
• Perform maintenance on the enterprise security infrastructures that covers service and security posture upkeep.
• Develop signatures, rules or policies on network security products to detect anomalies or security threats through monitoring.
• Plan and participate in areas of security operations to ensure that processes meet defined information security policies and standards, and evolving security threats.
• Implement and manage other Security products such as Endpoint Protection System.

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

• At least 3 years of experience in implementing and/or managing network security system.
• Team player with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of operating systems including Linux/Unix and Windows.
• PowerShell scripting is an advantage.
• Network security system product certification such as Trellix, ForcePoint, Cisco Network IPS, is an advantage.
• Security Certifications such as GISA, GSEC, CISSP, CISM is an advantage.
• Possess the following soft skills and attributes:
• Ability to justify new initiatives and recommend new initiatives to stakeholder(s).
• Conceptualise the Concept of Operations for the new initiatives
• Familiar with tendering process, defining requirements in tender specification.
• Team player and able to lead discussions between internal teams (Operations, Security, Contract) and external product principals or system integrator.
• Requires minimal supervision from supervisor
• Good written and verbal communication, with the ability to present and communicate effectively with non-technical audience.
• Able to work independently and as a good team player with analytical, management and planning skills
• Dynamic and with good analytical/conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills.
