Astek has an opening of Quality Engineer role for our projects in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test cases, test plans, and test frameworks, ensuring alignment with evolving requirements and policy changes.
- Build, enhance, and manage the automated test framework and test environments.
- Execute testing on new features and document any defects identified.
- Conduct a variety of tests, including manual, functional, performance, and exploratory, while also supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of professional software quality testing experience, with hands-on automation expertise.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, risk analysis, and test-driven development.
- Proficiency in Java or Kotlin, with Spring Boot knowledge a plus.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks like Cucumber, TestNG, Playwright, and performance tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Familiarity with penetration testing tools such as ZAP, Burp Suite, and CheckMarx.
- Proven ability to work in SCRUM teams with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
