Summary: Responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of various project’s information systems. This role includes conducting root cause analysis, supporting bid and proposal development, managing system changes, and performing system programming, configuration, testing and compliance.
- Design, install, and maintain digital communication networks, including wireless networks. Able to configure and install network devices and services, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Monitor network performance and fix faults. Able to identify, diagnose, and resolve technical problems related to network failure, integrity, and usage of PC hardware and software.
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis to identify and resolve system issues. Implement proactive measures to prevent recurrence of issues.
- Backup and Recovery. Prepare and maintain a backup environment, ensuring automated backup processes are in place. Perform regular server backups, patch Windows and Linux systems, and maintain up-to-date antivirus software.
- Enhance system security by hardening process, logging activities into SIEM systems, and configuring necessary network ports.
- Patch and Anti-virus Management. Prepare the patching environment and implement a patch server for regular updates. Ensure all systems are patched in a timely manner to protect against security vulnerabilities
- Establish and maintain system management standards and assist in the development of bids and proposals.
- Manage system changes through an established change request process, ensuring thorough documentation and approval.
- Analyze infrastructure requirements, design scalable and secure solutions, and align them with organizational goals.
- Ensure systems pass VAPT by continuously monitoring, identifying, and addressing potential vulnerabilities.
- Support Project and Pre-sales team in System wide design and implementation whenever required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering or a similar role
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Available to provide 24/7 standby support for Level 2 service for project and maintenance works
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNP, MCSE) are a plus
